Market Tavern is a cosy pub located behind the Core of the Poodle record store in historic Market Street, a stone's throw from the Palace Cinema. Owners Malcolm & Cheryl converted the stone building that was once a chemist's shop and installed a large fireplace and log burner. Normally two of Core of the Poodle brewery's own beers are on tap plus up to 6 other beers on keg.
