Situated opposite the remains of Coity Castle, this once Punch pub, now privately owned serves the local community with three good quality ales which also attracts drinkers from surrounding areas. Inside, a comfortable lounge to one side which has just been refurbished and a traditional drinker's bar to the other. At present food is only available on Sunday lunchtimes, no meals during week but hopes to increase in the future. Soft background music is played in the bars and the lounge can be booked for functions.
