Although the Southgate is a club, fully owned by its members, it also happily welcomes the general public as a pub and is fully licensed accordingly. It's popular with locals and also the many walkers and tourists who visit this beautiful and popular area of the Gower, especially when the sun shines! There are separate bar and lounge areas inside and a large outside seating area at the front, which is protected from the wind by large glass panels. Membership of the club entitles you to discount on drinks and food. During quieter periods (e.g. Winter) only two real ales may be available on handpump, although bottled ales should also be available. There are Bridge and Ladies Darts every Monday and a Quiz night on Thursdays.
