See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

This traditional looking large pub is located on a street corner along the main coastal road through the village. It has a large single "C-shaped" room, nicely and recently decorated, with a lounge area at the front of the room and a raised area at the rear with further seating. There are a couple of large TV screens sometimes showing sport. They hold regular karaoke, "open mic" and live music sessions every week. Opening times may vary from those shown.

History: - One of the oldest pubs in Mumbles, opening as the Waterloo in 1862. Since then, it has undergone a few changes of names and styles being the William Hancock for many years and then became the Kinsale Irish Pub for about 10 years. It was bought by new licensees in 2021 who temporarily renamed it as "The Tavern". The owners of the building, Star (Heineken UK) completed a major refurbishment of the pub in 2022 and since then, it has returned to its original name as the Waterloo Stores.
