This country pub, close to the village church and located within the Clwydian Range, is also reputedly one of the highest pubs in Wales, set 1148ft above sea level. It has a separate area for diners. One or two guest ales are available, usually sourced from local microbreweries. Since the retirement of the long serving landlady, as of 1st April 2026 now a community run pub.
