This friendly local, modernised several years ago has a single bar with two comfortable seating areas in an open plan room. Pub games and quizzes are run weekly and a large-screen TV shows sport. The changing beer rotates regularly and is well kept. The railway station nearby is on the Heart of Wales line. The local bird watching group hold their meetings here
