Busy Wetherspoon pub in the heart of the Canton district centre, to the west of the city centre. Ivor Davies was born locally and became better known as the singer Ivor Novello. The pub is spread over two levels, with a large ground floor area and a smaller area upstairs, with a patio to the rear. It is adjacent to the Albert Street bus stop, which is served by several routes to and from the city centre.
